Police Virus

If your pc has the police virus, it is a virus that controlled your pc where you can see a police photo, this photo says that your pc is being administered for the police because you have illegal downloads and you have only the option to pay 100 pounds giving your credit card's data and it's impossible to use the tasks manager or any combined keys, DON'T SEND ANY DATA BECAUSE IT'S A THEFT. Well if you have this problem with Windows XP or Windows 7/Vista, you can do the next :

WINDOWS XP

-If you have this system operative then you have serious problems, because this virus doesn't permit to execute the task manager and your pc will be locked. Therefore the best option is:

--> 1º Backup of your data
    +We can remove the hard disk and connect as slave disk then you could to copy all data in another side. we can also run our pc in safe mode, clicking F5 or F8 when the pc is starting. Because in safe mode the virus doesn't affect you.

--> 2º format your pc and reinstall Windows
    +Yes yes you have readed OK, we have that reinstall Windows XP (I don't advise you this) or install windows 7 if your pc support it, because with this windows is easy remove the police virus. However if you are more expert in installations, so you could install any Linux distributions and you have never any problem with this virus.

NOTE: This conclusion about Windows XP is in relation with my experience in 3 weeks ago when I had this virus in my pc, I was all night trying to solve it and it wasn't possible. In that moment I ran my pc in safe mode, I found the virus folder, it is in C:\Documents and Setting\your_user\ and here there is the folder with the virus picture (which change its name depending of the virus), but the .exe isn't here because it is executed from some server when the windows is starting, for this reason when we removed the virus we don't achieve nothing. Moreover I have used differents programs of anti-malware and registers cleaner, but when I restarted my pc it seemed to solved and it wasn't (and I have disabled all start of the systems with "msconfig"). Ahh, the last option that I used was "regedit" to try to remove the dubious registers in manual mode, but the principal suspect register shows me one error when I tried to remove it then we are with the same problem again. All these I have tried as administrator of the system for if anyone have some doubt.

WINDOWS 7/Vista

- Well with this system operative is easier than Windows XP, because you can to execute the task manager, therefore we can do the next:

--> 1º Finish the virus process
 +We must to execute the task manager (ctrl + alt + supr) and finish the virus process.

--> 2º Make a Backup
 +I always advise that is a good idea to make a backup from your most important data (We can to live without movies, series, or files that use too much space in the disk) therefore you only must copy photos and most important files.

--> 3º Remove the virus
+For remove the virus from our PC, we must download any registers cleaner and malware, I advise the next:
    CCLEANER (you can download it from this link http://ccleaner.en.softonic.com/) and the other is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (you can download it from this link http://malwarebytes-anti-malware.en.softonic.com/). Execute those two programs and then restart the PC, you are free from the police virus.

FINAL_NOTE: I know that there are people that they are cracks in computer systems, but the rest of the world (they are 99.99% of population) I think that this guide will be usefull for them.
